Celebrating 25 Years in North America

The 2,000 parts offered in 1990 seems quaint compared to 2015’s 20,000-plus. The days of now President & CEO, Chris Kaiser, taking and processing 20 orders in the morning and packing them by hand in the afternoon have given way to 150-order days that computers and machines help to process with ease. Even the name Kaiser Precision Tooling has grown up (so to speak) since day one, August 1, 1990.

But, as the calendar turns to 2015 and BIG Kaiser marks its 25th anniversary in North America, it’s not only a chance to celebrate remarkable growth and progress, but also to reflect on the values that have remained and have helped drive us.

Putting quality, innovation and performance ahead of sales has forged a trust with partners and customers alike. “We set out to be driven first by our engineering capabilities,” Jack Burley, VP, Sales and Engineering, at BIG Kaiser from the beginning, recalls. “We had an expression, ‘give us your toughest boring problem.’ If we can’t solve it, there probably isn’t anyone else who can. This kind of cooperation has allowed us to relate to customers as peers for the long term, not just as opportunistic, looking to make a quick sale and run.”

My oh my, how the times have changed…..including the tradeshow budget!

No matter the challenges—recessions, management shakeups, mergers and acquisitions—if a partner has worked with BIG Kaiser they always come back. Our commitment to our partners and customers paired with unmatched quality is the reason why this year we can celebrate relationships forged 15, 20, 25 years ago.

Chris Kaiser sums it up best, “Our company has doubled in size many times over in the past 25 years thanks to an unwavering commitment to our core values: quality, innovation and performance. We live by these ideas and keeping them as promises to the customer. That won’t ever change.”
