BIG KAISER Applications Engineer Featured as NTMA Emerging Leader
The National Tooling and Machining Association’s Emerging Leaders initiative brings individuals from a number of its member companies into a close-knit network. The initiative is designed to foster support with the hope that today and ten years from today, members will work together toward the common goal of moving the precision manufacturing industry forward.
BIG KAISER is proud to have our own applications engineer Cory Cetkovic featured as one of the NTMA’s Emerging Leaders.
Cory recently participated in the NTMA’s Emerging Leaders conference. The conference encourages development for years to come, bringing the future leadership of member companies together to talk about the ever-changing manufacturing industry. Today’s Emerging Leaders are encouraged to develop professional relationships and provide each other with resources and advice.
“I’m always thinking about unfinished work, new designs [and] new ideas. My mind is always working to improve,” Cory said in the video about a recent conference. “To improve myself and to improve the world.”
Encouraging today’s youth with manufacturing career awareness makes up another goal of the Emerging Leaders initiative. The initiative understands the importance of encouraging the millennial generation to feel motivated to aspire to careers in the manufacturing industry, as explained in a separate video released in November.
The next Emerging Leaders Conference will be held in Chicago, IL, June 6-8, 2016. You can keep checking back for more details here.
NTMA member companies are represented by 2,000 members, nearly 50 chapters in the United States and more than $40 billion in sales.
