Coolant & High Performance Drills

When using a high-performance drill, we do not recommend turning on coolant until the drill is inside a 1-2xD deep pilot hole. Using coolant without the guidance of a pilot hole can lead to vibrations, ultimately affecting tool life and surface finish.
