1998, Speroni® collaborated and introduced on the US market the first
integrated presetting and shrink fit system. This system was introduced
and developed to become the industry’s benchmark in terms of functionality
and sheer performance (total accuracy and repeatability) for years to
come. Pushed
by the requests and needs of the market, and specifically by a new Daimler
Chrysler project which was set to revolutionize tooling used in engine
manufacturing, the system was introduced as a ‘hands-off’
fully automatic (operator independent) and completely safe solution.
Without a doubt this
is to date a system that in terms of functionality, total accuracy and
safety can be still considered ‘top of the line’.
The results achieved
on the market in the past few years and the experience gathered from
our installations (especially the ones in the automotive field), is
allowing our companies to fine tune the project and develop an even
more efficient and effective solution.
Speroni has introduced
what is one of the four-second generation solutions for a fully integrated
presetting and shrink fit system – “STP EzShrink”
– at the EMO trade show in Milan, Italy, in October 2003.
The goal we set forth
for ourselves was to maintain and improve where possible, the efficiency
in terms of accuracy, repeatability, functionality, etc. of our system,
without compromising any of the major advantages developed in our first
integration.
