The catalog offers easy-to-understand illustrations and usage charts detailing how turning tool holders and cartridges, multiple rotating tool holders such as Kaiser KAB shanks, Mega Chucks, shrink fit, boring bar and endmill holders, along with high precision collets, combine to make NT machines achieve the highest performance.

It includes model numbers and clamping ranges for Micro and New Baby Collets, as well as specific cutter shank diameters required when using the Mega Perfect Seal.

The BIG PLUS taper and flange contact spindle system for Mori Seiki NT Series offers the first modular tooling system for mill-turning applications, in either a 45-degree tilt style or a 90-degree right angle style. It also includes a wide variety of rotary tool holders and a complete MTC® tooling system—a full range of tool holders for milling, drilling, tapping, reaming, and boring.

Simultaneous spindle and flange contact greatly enhances rigidity and repeatability, which yields many benefits in higher metal removal rates, higher accuracy, improved surface finish, and extended tool life.
