GROVE VILLAGE, IL - A new Speroni precision tool presetting
and measuring system, STP H.S. (Horizontal Spindle) for turn and
turn/turn broaching tools, has been developed for BIG Kaiser Precision
Tooling Inc. |

| Speroni
designed the STP H.S. system for ergonomical front operation. The
H.S. can be outfitted with an optional CNC unit, allowing for controlled
3-axis movement with automatic and operator-independent operation.
The CNC unit allows for unmatched repeatability and accuracy. Its
positioning accuracy is 1 micron (0.000039"). |

| The
STP H.S. is available in three different configurations (manual,
manual/motorized, and full CNC) and will measure tooling diameters
between 552 mm (21.7") to 850.9 mm (33.5"). |

| Its
thermo-balanced and artificially aged pearlitic cast iron structure
provides exceptional stability, rigidity and resistance to temperature
expansion to ensure that the equipment is fully isostatic and will
not deform or distort over time or temperature change. Hardened
and precision ground guideways and increased bearing surface provide
smooth movement and precision along the X- and Z- axes. |

users combine the STP H.S. CNC with Speroni B@ncaDatiInternet
(BDI) software for creation of custom inspection cycles for any
turn or turn/turn broaching tooling and the Speroni Vision System
(SVS), both standard features on STP H.S. CNC version, they can
easily achieve inspection certification of turn and turn/turn broaching
tools by pressing just one function key, minimizing possible operator
errors.

its predecessors, this new Speroni precision tool presetting
and measuring system covers the entire field of sophisticated CIM
applications, including flexible manufacturing systems and manufacturing

Proprietary hyperstatic adapter mechanical clamping system allows
for
adapter mount repeatability of .0005 mm (000019"), ensuring
maximum
concentricity with minimum total run-out. |
