GROVE VILLAGE, IL—Detailed specifications for using the EW2-12
Hi-Speed precision boring system are now available from BIG
Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc. in a full-color, two-page supplement
to the company’s comprehensive product catalog. |

| The
catalog supplement presents dimensions and order numbers of
the EW2-12, available with Kaiser modular KA3 connection or
16 mm straight shanks. It also presents boring ranges available
with the system’s nine different boring bars. |

| The
new EW2-12 program, an extension of Kaiser’s Series 112
precision finish heads for high speed operations, was designed
for high speed boring of small diameters from .075" (1.9
mm) to .500" (12.7 mm). It gives automatic balance precision
with a manual fine balancing mechanism for spindle speeds up
to 30,000 RPM. |

| With
a high precision Vernier scale, the new heads feature micrometer
adjustment precision, with large, smooth adjusting dials graduated
in increments down to .0001" on diameter. Important features
include superior design of the locking system that clamps the
tool carrier and adjusting dial, making the tool safer and
more stable, especially for high speed boring. |
