GROVE VILLAGE, IL - Four new Coromant Capto® adapters with KAB
tool connection open the full range of BIG Kaiser tools to use with
Mill/Turn machines with Capto spindle, BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling
Inc. announced. |

| These
four adapters make it possible to use the Kaiser modular boring
tool system for the boring range Æ.078"-46.46" in
combination with Coromant Capto® basic holders C5, C6 and C8. |
|

availability of these adapters provides a cost-effective solution
for users of Mill/Turn multi-tasking machines equipped with Capto
spindles to use Kaiser boring tool systems. The new adapters add
an important new interface to the users of both Kaiser and Coromant
Capto® systems and they extend the versatility of the KAB connection,"
said Jack Burley, BIG Kaiser Vice President, Engineering. |

full range of Kaiser boring tool systems can be used within three
sizes of Capto:
· Capto C5
and C6 to Kaiser KAB6 for diameters .078"-8.00"
· Capto C8 to Kaiser KAB7 and 317 boring system for diameters
3.94"-46.46"

| The
adapters are made from a high carbon alloy steel and case hardened
to Rc58, an important requirement of tool changing the Capto system
used on Mill/Turn spindles as well as improving the life of the
adapter. |
