- Length
to diameter ratio less than 4:1
- Rigid
fixture and workpiece.
- Good
quality and clean machine spindle.
- The
set up is not chatter prone.
Critical
Conditions:
- Interrupted
cut.
- Excessive
spindle looseness.
- Unstable
fixture and/or workpiece.
- If
the set up is chatter prone
