Speroni
Esperia is the standard by which all other tool presetters
are measured. The STP Esperia is a high precision modular tool presetting system designed to increase profits and available machining time. From the standard STP 44 to a fully optioned STP 1212, Speroni Esperia is in step with your changing tool presetting and measuring needs. All Speroni Esperia models can achieve repeatable precision of 1 micron (0.000039") or better. STP Esperias are constructed with Pearlitic class 40 cast iron; this provides for added precision and consistency to measurements and increased system stability and durability. The first class quality and construction of Speroni Tool Presetters are complimented by a world class service and support team.

The Speroni STP Esperia 44 The Speroni STP Esperia 44 is the standard model Esperia. Easily expandable to fit your changing tooling needs, the STP Esperia represents Speroni's 40 year commitment to world class quality and design. STP 44 shown with standard Basic Control Unit.
   
The Speroni STP Esperia 46 The Speroni STP Esperia 46 shown with the standard Basic Control Unit and optional Basic Vision System (B.V.S.) The B.V.S. offers cost effective automatic tool measurements. The video measuring system features a center point indicator that is ideal for presetting angular cuts, as in chamfering. It may also be used to calculate nose radii and angles.
   
The Speroni STP Esperia 48 The Speroni STP Esperia 66 shown with the optional Speroni B@nca Dati Internet (B.D.I.) system. Brand name PCs with a three year warranty. Pressing a "measure" button, the system will automatically measure the tool tip and/or the complete tool geometry and print a customizable inspection certificate. This can all be done without human intervention.

Complete CNC-controlled 3-axis movement for automatic and operator-independent operation that will ensure unmatched repeatability and accuracy. Its positioning accuracy is 1 micron (0.000039").

  The F-20 Tool Holder Mechanical Clamping System  
Left:
F-20 Tool Holder Mechanical Clamping System - with pneumatically activated universal retention knob clamping. The proprietary design of this system (unique in the industry), allows for the mechanical clamping of any standard size knob, applying a draw force of about 600lbs to ensure a high repeatability and accuracy in the measurement of the tool. This is achieved without adding or removing any component on the machine for maximum ease of use.

The uniquely designed "simultaneous fit" adapter clamping system allows for an adapter mount repeatability of .000019" (.0005mm) ensuring maximum concentricity with a guaranteed T.I.R. spec of less than .0002" (.0004mm) at 12" (300mm): a primary requirement for the guarantee of maximum accuracy and repeatability.
