originally
established as KPT/Kaiser Precision Tooling, Inc. the U.S. subsidiary
of Heinz
Kaiser AG, Rümlang, Switzerland in the spring of 1990. Heinz
Kaiser AG, is a worldwide leader
in the development and manufacture of precision boring tools and
modular boring systems of unmatched
quality. Two thirds of all BIG Kaiser components are made in the
United States. Kaiser's most distinctive features are the unsurpassed
ruggedness
of the rough boring heads, high repeatable precision of the finish
boring heads and the patented design of the KA/KAB connection. BIG

| In
June of 2003, with a significant expansion of its commitment to the
North American market,
BIG Daishowa
Seiki Co. Ltd., a global tooling manufacturer
based in Osaka, Japan, formed a new strategic alliance with
BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling Inc. To recognize the importance of this new
strategic alliance, KPT/Kaiser has been renamed BIG Kaiser Precision
Tooling Inc. |

| Heinz
Kaiser AG, and BIG Daishowa Seiki look back on twenty-two years of
successful collaboration as licensor and licensee. This
relationship has been characterized by mutual trust and has been
to the benefit of both companies. |

| Our
experience is that customers ask for total tooling solutions, for
that reason, the global market urgently requires more and more cooperation
to be able to fulfill the respective customer needs. Therefore,
BIG and Kaiser have decided to deepen their cooperation in the North
American market. BIG Daishowa’s President and Chief Executive

several years, KPT/Kaiser had offered BIG-PLUS KAB
tool shanks and other BIG tooling components, manufactured in Japan
by
BIG Daishowa
Seiki. Now, BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling, Inc. has expanded its
BIG Daishowa product line with new tooling introduced at JIMTOF 2002,
Tokyo, including
the
new FULLCUT
MILL indexable insert milling cutters and other products for the
new generation of MTC milling turn centers. |

| BIG
Daishowa Seiki, is one of the world’s leading producers of
precision tool holders and measuring accessories, it operates four
manufacturing facilities in Japan, one in Osaka and three in Awaji.
The company
was established in 1967 and now employs more than 500. |

BIG Kaiser
professionals compliment the world's finest tools with world class
service
and sales support. BIG Kaiser's 13,000 square foot suburban Chicago
distribution center stocks over 400 modular tool components, most
of them available
for overnight delivery anywhere in the United States. The D.C. also
houses BIG Kaiser's United States product demonstration and training
center.
Damaged tools go to BIG Kaiser's full service repair shop for speedy
renovation, replacements are available overnight if needed. BIG
Kaiser's trained
and experienced field application team is ready to assist with any
manufacturing problem that may arise.

tool measurement and presetting systems include the Diaset
and Speroni systems.
The entry level Diaset line of contact digital tool measuring and presetting
stations are perfect for basic presetting and measuring needs. The more
technologically advanced Speroni systems, with non-contact measurement
and presetting capabilities utilizing projectors and vision systems are
designed for DNC and CIM applications. Speroni tool room management systems
are designed to reduce tool management time by putting the right tool
in the right place at the right time. |
